Información General para tu saber:

Espacio considerado como el que más diversidad posee de toda la Isla. Situado en el extremo de la costa noreste, incluye varios espacios montañosos, con barrancos y altas cumbres. Se localizan en esta zona varias formaciones geológicas y geomorfológicas de interés como el arco de Taganana, los Roques de Anaga, los Picos de Chinobre,varias playas, y un aspecto peculiar en cuanto a la desembocadura de los barrancos, ya que lo hacen por debajo del nivel del mar apareciendo por tanto llenos de aluviones. Culturalmente existen unos yacimientos paleontológicos en la Playa del Tachero, de interés científico, así como varios asentamientos humanos que le dan gran belleza y armonía a este impresionante paisaje. Hablar de este enclave es sinónimo de biodiversidad. En las altas cumbres aparece una masa boscosa de Laurisilva en algunos puntos del Parque. Se va pasando al fayal-brezal, a sabinares en las zonas medias y más escarpadas, y a los cardonales-tabaibales que se sitúan próximos a los cauces de los barrancos.Todos estos hábitats de excelente formación, esconden abundantes especies protegidas y amenazadas. En lo relativo a la fauna no podía ser menos, con gran número de especies representativas, principalmente entre las aves, ya que este lugar está considerado como Zona de Especial Protección para las Aves. Cernícalos, ratoneros, camineros, currucas, palomas de Laurisiva, pardelas y petreles de Bulwer. Entre los mamíferos destacar varias especies de murciélagos y entre los reptiles se dan especies de lagartos, perenquenes y lisas. Los artrópodos poseen gran representación en todo el enclave.

Our First Trip... Anaga:

This space, regarded as the place which has more diversity in the island. It is located at the tip of the northwest coast. It includes some mountain areas, with ravines and high peaks. In this place there are located some interesting geological and geomorphological formations, as for example, Arch Taganana, Los Roques de Anaga, Peaks Chinobre, and a peculiar aspect referred to the outfall of the ravines, as they do below the sea level, appearing therefore full of floods. Culturally, there are some paleontological sites in Tachero's beach, with a scientific interest, as well as human settlements which give great beauty and harmony to this impressive landscape. Speak about this enclave is synonymous of biodiversity. In this high peak we can find a big Laurisilva's forest in some places of the park. In another level, it passes to the fayal-brezal, to sabinares in the medium areas and more steep, and the cardonal-tabaibal located next to the channel of the ravines. All of that habitats of excellent formations, hid abundant protected and threatened especies. In speech of Fauna, it couldn't be less, with a big number of representative species, mainly among the birds, this place is considerated as Area for Special Protection For Birds: Kestrels, buzzards, road, warblers, pigeons Laurisilva, shearwaters and petrels Bulwer. among mammals highlights several bat species and among species of reptiles are lizards, perenquenes and lisas.

“Ola, soy un estudiante de 2º curso de la Diplomatura de Turismo, y a lo largo del curso... he tenido que visitar Anaga con mi clase en diversas ocasiones... Nuestra primera visita fue a Cruz del Carmen... una de las mejores muestras de senderos de Tenerife, que se encuentra en la Cumbre de Anaga... Cruz del Carmen se sitúa en la parte norte de Anaga que dan al municipio de La Laguna.... Pues bien, voy a relatarles cómo fue mi visita...

“Hi, I'm a student of 2nd course of Tourism Degree, and during the course, i've visited Anaga with my class in several times... Our first visit was to Cruz del Carmen... one of the best examples of paths, which is found in the peak of Anaga. Cruz del Carmen is located in the north area of Anaga, which overlooks the municipality of La Laguna...So well, i'm going to tell you how was my visit....

… Al llegar al mirador central, desde el cual se podía observar el comienzo de todos los senderos.. nos distrubuyeron en grupos y cada grupo se encargó de analizar un sendero

.....Just when we arrived to the little square of the central viewpoint of Cruz del Carmen, from where we could observe the beggining of the all the paths. We were divided into groups and each group was was handled to analyze one path...

...A nuestro grupo, le tocó el Camino de Las Hiedras hasta el cartel de Chinamada. Mientras realizábamos este camino, pudimos analizarlo en todos los sentidos:
El camino en general, está bien estructurado, está preparado para que los turistas caminen, aunque hay ciertos desniveles y caídas que se podrían mejorar. Observamos que en la primera parte del camino, muchos de los elementos eran bióticos y abióticos. Además, analizamos la dificultad que el sendero conllevaba, que catalogamos como dificultad media, al ser una parte un poco llana y otra en bajada, con escalones en mal estado y un tanto escarpada. También contamos los pasos que eran necesarios darse para llegar al final del camino, (alrededor de unos 1229), y el tiempo que tardaba en realizarse, alrededor de unos 25 minutos.
Durante el camino, pudimos observar que la señalización era muy buena... y finalmente, nos percatamos, como dato relevante, de que habían muchos elementos que ensuciaban el camino: como colillas, bolsas de plástico, etc."

...My group was asigned to walk trhroug Las Hiedras' path, the stretch until the poster of Chinamada. While we walked the path, we could analyze it in all the senses:
The path in general is well-structured, it is enabled for the tourists to walk, though there are some drops and falls which could improve. We observed that in the fisrt part of the path, many of the elements were biotic and abiotic. Besides, we analyzed the difficulty that the path had, which we scheduled as medium difficulty, because it had a part a little flat and another part descent, in poor shape, and slightli steeper. Also, we counted the steps that were necessary until finishing the path (1229 approximately) and the time that we lasted in doing it, (over 25 minutes).
During the path, we could observe that the signals to indicate the path were right, and finally, we realized as a relevant date that there were a lot of elements that made the parth dirty, as for example, buggs, plastic bags, etc."

Como último comentario sobre Cruz del Carmen, me gustaría adjuntar una foto de los miembros de mi grupo que han realizado el camino y las fotos junto conmigo.

A continuación, pocos meses después, a cada alumno se le pedía realizar un estudio sobre los recursos territoriales de una zona de la isla que se estuvieran promocioando en la actualidad. El trabajo consistía en analizar estos recursos desde páginas web, bien desde la página web oficial del lugar asignado, o bien desde páginas en las que se mencionara dicho lugar, o en la que se pudieran apreciar los recursos turísticos que esta zona poseía.
Casualmente, a mí me tocó realizar la zona de Anaga. Tras un arduo análisis de toda la zona, analizando todos los aspectos de cada recurso, creé una base de datos detallada de todo lo que cada recurso incluía. Este fue el resultado:

To continue, some months later, each student was asked to realize a study about the territorial resources in a determinated area of the island which could be promotioning at present. The proyect consisted on anilyse those resources throughout internet, as well as the official web page, or as well throughout other pages in which the area was mentioned or also, in which the resources that these area has were mentioned too.

Incidentally, I was asigned to anylise Anaga. After a difficult analysis in all the ares, analysing all the aspects of each resource, I created a Data Base with all what each resource included. These was the result.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna, conocida popularmente como La Laguna, es una ciudad y un municipio canario perteneciente a la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (España). Esta ciudad fue capital de la isla de Tenerife en tiempos anteriores; actualmente la capital es Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Se encuentra en el noreste se la isla, junto a Santa Cruz de Tenerife (ciudad con la que forma una conurbación).

La ciudad fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco en 1999. Es la tercera urbe más poblada de Canarias, tras Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y Santa Cruz de Tenerife. En ella radican el Consejo Consultivo de Canarias, la Diócesis de Tenerife (diócesis de la provincia) y la primera universidad fundada en Canarias.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna tiene un valor universal y excepcional por la concepción de su plano. Este conjunto histórico, es el arquetipo de la ciudad-territorio. Es el primer ejemplo de ciudad no fortificada, concebido y construido según un plano inspirado en la navegación, la ciencia de la época. Su espacio está organizado según un nuevo orden social pacífico inspirado por la doctrina religiosa del milenio que suscita el año 1500.

El plano de la ciudad se lee como el «mapa estelar», en que los puntos corresponden con puntos particulares de la ciudad y a las relaciones entre ciertos de estos puntos y un todo. Tiene un significado simbólico y se interpreta como una carta o un mapa de constelaciones de la época.

La ciudad también es conocida como "La Ciudad de los Adelantados".

San Cristobal de La Laguna, popularly known as La Laguna is a municipality and a city belonging to the Canary Islands, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain). This city was capital of the island of Tenerife in the past, now the capital is Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Is located in the northeast is the island, next to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (city with which it forms an urban area). The city was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1999. It is the third most populous city of the Canary Islands, after Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. San Cristobal de La Laguna has a universal value and unique due to its plane. This historic set is the epitome of city territory. El Teide:
El Teide es un volcán, Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde el 28 de julio de 2007.
Con una altura de 3.718 m sobre el nivel del mar y unos 7.000 m sobre el lecho oceánico, es el pico más alto de España y el de cualquier isla atlántica y es el tercer mayor volcán de La Tierra desde su base, después del Mauna Loa y Mauna Kea, ambos en la isla de Hawaii. El Teide es un estratovolcán. Es también desde finales de 2007 uno de los Doce Tesoros de España.

Para los aborígenes guanches este volcán era sagrado y recibía el nombre de Echeyde (que después de una castellanización, derivó en el nombre actual) que significaba infierno. Según sus creencias en él vivía Guayota, el demonio del mal. Según la leyenda, Guayota secuestró al dios Magec (dios de la luz y el sol), y lo llevó consigo al interior del Teide. Los guanches pidieron clemencia a Achamán, su dios supremo. Achamán consiguió derrotar a Guayota, sacar a Magec de las entrañas de Echeyde y taponar el cráter. Dicen que el tapón que puso Achamán es el llamado Pan de Azúcar, el último cono, de color blanquecino, que corona el Teide.

Se tiene constancia de erupciones antiguas (hace unos 150.000 años) que marcaron el relieve actual de toda la isla. Por entonces se alzaba un volcán todavía mayor que el Teide. Se barajan dos hipótesis para la desaparición de este pico. La primera que este pico se fraccionó y se deslizo hasta el mar por el norte de Tenerife. La otra hipótesis, que en este pico se produjera un colapso del pico hundiéndose. En ambos caso, se formaron las llamadas Cañadas del Teide. Gracias a nuevas erupciones se elevó el volcán que ha llegado a la actualidad.

El Drago Milenario de Icod:

Es conocido como drago milenario de Icod se encuentra en el municipio español de Icod de los Vinos, al norte de la isla de Tenerife (Canarias); es un enorme ejemplar de drago (Dracaena draco) declarado Monumento Nacional en 1917.

Se le atribuye una edad de miles de años si bien ningún estudio ha podido confirmar dicha longevidad, siendo más probable que la planta tenga unos cuantos cientos de años. Este drago constituye el símbolo de Icod, como se puede apreciar en el escudo de armas de dicha localidad canaria. En el entorno del drago existe un parque que exhibe distintas
